150 students joined Rabbi Akiva Rutenberg Rabbi Mordechai Kraft and their families at a Gateways Seminar during the past year. A five star hotel and gourmet food form the perfect backdrop for world famous rabbis and scientists to present the evidence for the truth of Torah and its relevance in modern life. As a result of these seminars many students have both deepened their understanding of Torah and taken upon themselves commitments to observe the laws of kashrut and to keep Shabbat.

The scenic beauty of Monsey provided a stunning backdrop to power-packed weekends of inspiration and growth. Highlights included lectures by Rabbi Label Lamm, Mrs. Chaya Reich and Rabbi Jonathon Rietti, Ice-skating at Bear Mountain and a Chinese buffet melave malka at the home of Rabbi Rutenberg’s parents. Aron Katayev, Sara Basiratmand and Mazal Kalendarova, Mimi Berkowitz and Devorah Esther Yudkowitz, as well as so many others, did an outstanding job to ensure the success of these programs
